Requesting a chaperone

You may request a chaperone at any time, either:

• When booking your appointment,
• When you arrive at the surgery, or
• During your consultation.

If a trained chaperone is not immediately available, you may be asked to wait or offered an alternative appointment.

Staff training

All clinical and non‑clinical staff involved in providing this service have completed official chaperone training to ensure you receive safe, respectful, and professional support at all times.
