A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Community NursesThe Community Nurses are not based at the surgery but they work along with our doctor and staff members. They take care of chronically sick patients and house bound patients through house visits. Community MidwifeThey are specially trained professional who provide care for the pregnant women before, during and after delivery. |
