When We Are Closed

If you have an urgent medical problem between 18:30 and 08:00 weekdays or at the weekend and bank holidays which cannot wait until the surgery is open please telephone the ABMU GP Out of Hours Service on 111.

The out of hours service is an emergency service, for conditions which cannot wait until the Practice re-opens. Patients must telephone the service first for appropriate advice and for a decision to be made on the most appropriate action in the circumstances.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. (Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.)
